ITINERARY
- DAY 1: Munich
In the morning, you visit the citys
main attractions, concluding the
tour at the Marienplatz square
with its famous clock tower. Then
you will participate in a unique
German culinary experience, such
as a Bavarian cooking lesson, a
workshop to learn about traditional
sausage-making or a course on
how to make German bread. Let us
surprise you!
- DAY 2: Munich - Nuremberg
In the morning, sample a typical
Bavarian-style breakfast (Weißwurstfrühstück).
Start the day with
a white sausage, often accompanied
with beer, Brezel and a little
sweet mustard. This specialty of
Munich is traditionally eaten before
noon. In the afternoon, we travel
to Nuremberg. Visit Nurembergs
historic city center with its impressive
and well-preserved castle,
Gothic churches, romantic houses
and peaceful squares that evoke
an unforgettable charm.
- DAY 3: Nuremberg - Dresden
In the morning you travel to the city
of Dresden. Take a bike tour of the
old town, riding through residential
areas, the Great Garden and
along the river by the old towpath.
During the bike tour, we will visit
interesting sights such as the Opera
Square and the famous opera
house designed by architect Gottfried
Semper, the Church of Our
Lady, which is the second largest
limestone building in the world,
and the former Royal Palace. (Duration:
3 hours)
- DAY 4: 4 Dresden - Pulsnitz -
Saxon Switzerland - Dresden
Today you will undertake a special
excursion to Pulsnitz. The city is
known nationwide for its famous
gingerbread (Pulsnitzer Pfefferkuchen),
earning the city its nickname
Pfefferkuchenstadt (Gingerbread
City). Here you will find
a gingerbread factory and eight
traditional manufacturers that
still make the product the old-fashioned
way. After visiting the museum,
stop to sample this specialty
and bake your own gingerbread.
In the afternoon, travel to SaxonSwitzerland. Visit the Bastion,
the symbol of Saxon Switzerland.
On our return to Dresden, we visit
the Königstein fortress, which served
as a prison for many centuries
- DAY 5: Dresden - Wittenberg
- Kaffeeklatsch with a German
family - Berlin
After breakfast, we drive to Wittenberg,
better known as Lutherstadt
(the City of Luther). Visit the
city and its historic sights, such
as the Schlosskirche, the church
where Luther has been buried. In
the afternoon, you will be invited
to the home of a local family to join
them for a coffee and a piece of
cake (Kaffeeklatsch). This will be
a unique opportunity to speak with
a German family and learn how ordinary
people live in Germany. We
conclude our trip in Berlin.
