ITINERARY
- DAY 1: Overnight on your transatlantic flight
- DAY 2: Paris. On arrival transfer (available on request) to your hotel. - DAY 5: Normandy - Le Treport. After breakfast pick up your Mercedes C Class car (or similar) and start your drive toward Normandy Le Treport. Less then 3 hours drive and 138 miles away from Paris Le Treport is a fishing village on top of the amazing clift Along the road stop for a visit of Giverny the home of Claude Monet! - DAY 7: Normandy - Etretat After Breakfast drive to Etretat. You can choose the coast road (only 98 miles) but we recommend to stop for a visit to Rouen the historic capital of Normandy and the birthplace of Impressionism!. This famous old French city dubbed the city with a hundred bells chiming in the air, opens its gates to you. Every hour of the day brings a procession of colors that constantly unveil a different city, making this old French city one of the most beautiful European cities At the cathedral, you can see famous paintings by Claude Monet, the stone facade reflecting the colors of the sun, and the colorful stained-glass windows permeating with light. Overnight at Domaine Saint Clair - Le Donjon*** in Etretat Ideally located, overlooking the cove of Etretat and its pebblebeaches, the domain offers two 19th century buildings with timeless charm : the Donjon" is a small Anglo-Norman château and the Villa is a cozy seaside residence. Located just a few minutes from the Landing Beaches, the Musée Mémorial de la Bataille de Normandie de Bayeux (the Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum in Bayeux) provides a unique and comprehensive history of the combat on Normandy's beaches from June 7 to August 29, 1944. Bayeux was one of the first cities liberated by Allied forces the morning of June 7. Overnight
- DAY 11: Bayeux - Paris airport It is time to depart! You have a 3 hours drive (178 miles) to airport for your departing flight.
