ITINERARY
- DAY 1: Departure from New York airport to Spain. Overnight in your transatlantic flight
- DAY 2: Madrid After arrival at Madrid Airport pick up your car and drive to Toledo (about 90 minutes)Toledo was the capital and Royal residence in the middle age, where in XIII century the Moslems, Jewish, and Christians lived peacefully together. Enjoy a walk along its narrow streets where the history can be felt in the air. In the afternoon, we suggest to visit the Cathedral, St tome Church with El Greco painters masterpiece) and the Synagogue.
In the evening when all tourists from Madrid are gone stroll around the stone medieval streets . Overnight at hotel
- DAY 3: TOLEDO - ARANJUEZ - VALENCIA Breakfast. Drive to Aranjuez royal summer residence for the Borbon kings. Its fantastic gardens inspired a masterpiece of classic Spanish guitar (Concert of Aranjuez). The Royal Palace can be visited.
Then drive to Valencia ( about 3 hrs 30 minutes driving time) Overnight at hotel
- DAY 4: VALENCIA - BARCELONA Breakfast. Located in a fertile terrain and with a soft Mediterranean weather, Valencia is surrounded by a rich orchard (its oranges are famous worldwide) and full of splendid public gardens. It was recovered for the Christian kingdom in the middle age by the mythic El Cid. In the morning, we suggest to visit its Gothic cathedral, , where the bell tower called Micalet is the symbol of the town .La Lonja (XV century exchange market) and the old market are also very singular. A must to be visited the top new architecture project of the Ciudad de Las Artes y las Ciencias (city of Sciences and Arts). Then drive to Barcelona (about 3 hrs 30 minutes driving time) Overnight at hotel
- DAY 5: BARCELONA Breakfast and overnight at hotel. We will walk to the Gothic Quarter full of XII to XVI century buildings, visiting inside the Cathedral. We will visit panoramically the Ensanche, quarter built in XIXth century where La Sagrada Familia church and most of the Modernism buildings are. And of course to walk along the always alive Ramblas street, full of street actors, musicians, painters,
- DAY 6: BARCELONA -ZARAGOZA -MADRID Breakfast Drive to Zaragoza ( about 3 hrs 30 minutes driving time) Stop to walk in the Pilar Square, where the local citizens congregate for important events, and main monuments are: Pilar Basilic, Seo, XVI century Lonja (old market). Then on road to Madrid

- DAY 7: MADRID Breakfast and overnight at hotel. We will visit panoramically some of its main avenues and monumental fountains (Cibeles, Neptuno), as well as the famous and always busy Plaza Mayor (main square) and old town, visiting inside the Prado Musem, probably the best collection of classic painters on the world
- DAY 8: MADRID USA Breakfast. Transfer on your own to the airport for your departing flight to United States.
