- DAY 1: Sunday: ROME (TOUR A STARTS) -Transfer from the airport in Rome to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. You may ask your tour leader for suggested ctivities. Check in at a 4 star superior hotel in the city centre of Rome and overnight.
- DAY 2: Monday: ROME - American buffet breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will enjoy a 3 hrs Discovering Rome guided walking tour. You will be picked up at your hotel at about 9.00am. The tour will start from Largo Argentina and continue to Campo de Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps. Rest of the day at leisure. You may ask your tour leader for suggested activities. In the evening, enjoy a 3 courses dinner at a selected restaurant (wine & mineral water are included) where you will discover the Roman cuisine. Overnight at the hotel.
- DAY 3: Tuesday: ROME-ASSISI-RAVENNA-VENICE (TOUR B STARTS) American buffet breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure for ASSISI by deluxe motorcoach, where you will visit the mystic town of Saint Francis still surrounded by ancient walls, the Basilica of Saint Francis with its early Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Continue towards RAVENNA, known as the mosaic city because of the stunning 5th-6th century mosaics that decorate the walls of its churches and monuments and because it is still one of Italy's top producers of mosaics. You will meet a private English speaking guide and discover for 2 hours this marvelous city. Ravenna has eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Roman sites, museums, Dante's tomb, and just a little outside its city centre, the spectacular SantApollinare in Classe, a splendid 6th century basilica, with mosaics in the Presbytery and, outside, a cylindrical bell tower. Following the sightseeing tour, the tour continues to Venice. Check in at a 4 star superior hotel in the city centre of VENICE followed by a 3 courses dinner at a selected restaurant (wine & mineral water are included) where you will discover the Venetian cuisine. - DAY 4: Wednesday: VENICEAmerican buffet breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will meet a private English speaking guide for a panoramic 2 hour walking tour of this unique city. You will see the Piazza and Basilica of St. Mark, enjoy an inside visit of the Doges Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prison (Skip the line entrance tickets included). Lunch at leisure, and in the afternoon with your tour leader you depart by boat to the island of Murano. Once in Murano you will assist to a demonstration of glass blowing (time for shopping). Return to the city centre for 3 courses dinner at a selected restaurant (wine & mineral water are included) where you will continue your culinary adventure and taste even more Venetian specialties. - DAY 5: Thursday: VENICE-VERONA-SIRMIONE (Lake Garda) LAKE COMO American buffet breakfast the hotel, meet your tour leader and boat transfer from the hotel to Tronchetto and board your deluxe minibus. Your journey continues to VERONA. Once in Verona, you will meet a private English speaking guide for a 2 hour visit of the town of Romeo and Juliet! Following the visit, you will continue to SIRMIONE, a charming town located in the southern part of Lake Garda. Upon arrival, you will have free time for lunch and for a brief walking tour on your own of the historical centre. In the early afternoon, the tour will continue to COMO located on the shore of Lake Como. Your driver and tour leader will take you around for panoramic visit of this beautiful lake before arriving at the hotel in Como. Check in at a 4 star superior hotel, followed by a 3 courses dinner at the Hotel (wine & mineral water are included) where you will savor more specialties of the Northern Italian cuisine. - DAY 6: Friday: COMO LAKE-MILAN-FLORENCE American buffet breakfast at the hotel, board the minibus and proceed to MILAN. Once in the city, enjoy a tour with a 3 hours tour of the city centre. You will visit the shopping gallery Vittorio Emanuele II, the Sforza castle, and the Splendid Duomo, one of the worlds largest most striking Gothic cathedrals. Free time for lunch before continuing your journey to Florence. Check in at a 4 star superior hotel in the city centre of Florence, followed by a 3 courses dinner at a selected restaurant (wine & mineral water are included) where you will discover the Tuscan cuisine. Overnight at the hotel in Florence. Meals: B D
- DAY 7: Saturday: FLORENCE American buffet breakfast at the hotel. Meet a private English speaking guide and start a 3 hour tour of this magnificent Renaissance city. You will visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Academia Gallery (inside visit, skip the line entrance tickets included), famous for the Michelangelos David. The afternoon is at your disposal to stroll on your own among the charming streets of FLORENCE. Ask your tour leader for suggestions! In the evening enjoy 3 courses dinner at a selected restaurant (wine & mineral water are included) where you will continue your culinary adventure and taste even more Tuscan specialties. - DAY 8: Sunday: FLORENCE-PISA-SIENA-ROME American buffet breakfast at the hotel and departure to PISA. you will drive through the picturesque Tuscan countryside and reach PISA. After the panoramic drive on board of your minibus along the banks of the Arno river, You will visit Piazza dei Miracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower (exterior visit), the Baptistery (exterior visit) and other important monuments. Time at leisure for lunch, and then proceed to SIENA where you will meet a private English speaking guide for a 2 hour tour of the old city centre. You will walk along these beautiful medieval streets admiring splendid palace. The tour will end in the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in the world and site of the famous 600+ year-old Palio horse-race. Here you will also visit the spectacular Cathedral. After the guided tour, board your minibus and continue to ROME.The estimates arrival time in Rome is 6 pm. Check in at a 4 star superior Hotel in the city centre of Rome and overnight. Meals: B
